Prof. Dr. Ergül Aslan, graduated from Istanbul University Florence Nightingale School of Nursing in 1996 in Istanbul/Turkey. In 1999, she completed her Master's degree in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing at the Istanbul University Health Sciences Institute. In 2005, she completed the Doctorate Program in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing at Marmara University Health Sciences Institute and earned her "PhD".
After graduation, she worked as a nurse for 10 years and began her academic career in March 1999. She received the title of Associate Professor in 2011 and was promoted to Professor in 2018, a position she continues to hold. Throughout her academic career, she has taken an active role in commission studies, administrative duties, and accreditation processes at both the University and Faculty.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Association of Urogynaecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery.
Her special interests include urogynecology, women’s sexual health, gynaecological oncology, and reproductive health.
Ergül Aslan has published both national and international academic works and holds memberships in various associations related to her field.
