Prof. Dr. Ergül Aslan graduated from Istanbul University Florence Nightingale School of Nursing in 1996. She graduated from Istanbul University Health Sciences Institute, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecologic Nursing Master's Program in 1999. She completed the Marmara University Health Sciences Institute, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecologic Nursing Doctorate Program in 2005 and received the "PhD" title.
After her graduation, she worked as a nurse for 10 years. She has been working as an academic since March 1999. She received the title of Associate Professor in 2011 and was appointed as Professor in 2018.
She is still working as a faculty member in the Department of Women Health and Gynecologic Nursing at İstanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing.
Urogynecology, women's sexual health, gynecological oncology and reproductive health are her special interests. She is a member of professional organizations specific to her field.
