Michael Winder (b 1980) earned his degree of Doctor of Medicine (PhD) from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden in 2010. His main research interest is inflammatory disease in the lower urinary tract and the various effects of signalling molecules and pharmacological substances on these diseases. Of particular interest are the actions of nitric oxide. Dr Winder is currently a professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
