Patricia Neumann is a Specialist Women's Men's & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2010). She has a PhD from the University of South Australia and has many years clinical experience in pelvic health. She co-designed and lectures on the course "Conservative Management of Pelvic Organ Prolapse" at the University of South Australia. The course includes theoretical and practical training in the use of pessaries for women with prolapse. Her publications as first author or co-author cover a range of pelvic health issues in women and men, standards in physiotherapy training in pelvic health and, most recently, competency standards for physiotherapy training in pessary use.
