Harvey D. Homan, PhD is CEO of Ingenion Medical Limited, a privately-held medical device company incorporated in the UK that has acquired the rights to the IP and assets related to the technologies developed originally by Urovalve, Inc. and plans to launch the CymActive™ System in Europe during Q2 2014.

Dr. Homan currently also is President and CEO of SR Holding 1 Co., a privately-held medical device company that received the ISO 13485 Certificate for its Quality Management System and the CE Mark for the CymActive™ System (formerly called the Surinate® Bladder Management System) on October 1, 2013.

Previously, Dr. Homan was President and CEO of Urovalve, Inc., which he led from concept/prototype stage through completion of development, manufacture and clinical proof of safety and effectiveness of an innovative urinary drainage device - the Surinate® Bladder Management System.

Prior to Urovalve, Dr. Homan was President and CEO of Linguagen, Corp. where he provided the vision and leadership to transform the business model; negotiated acquisition of core technology patents; secured seed funding from private investors and NIH grant; and developed the foundations that supported successful reverse merger.

Dr. Homan was at the cutting edge of innovation throughout 20-years with Sterling Drug, Inc and the Boots Companyin the USA, Europe and Asia where he held leading roles in brand management and held senior positions in Corporate Development and Innovation, Product Development, Regulatory, Clinical and Medical Affairs.

Dr. Homan holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Georgia and an MBA from the NYU Stern School and holds the Certificate of Director Education from NACD. He serves as a mentor and coach at the NYU Stern Business School, and is a member of the NJIT SOM Board. He is very involved with family, Special Olympics, charitable work, and enjoys cycling and golf.
