Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia (Spain) in 1981. Specialist in Urology with Residency at the Hospital Gómez Ulla (1985-1990). Doctor in Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1992 with the thesis entitled “Biomechanics of bladder filling”. Master's Degree in Design and Statistics in Health Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1997-1999). Director of radiodiagnostic facilities by the Nuclear Safety Council of Spain (2007).
