Dr. Priya Padmanabhan is Professor of Urology and Director of the Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the OU William Beaumont School of Medicine. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Dr. Padmanabhan earned her undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College and returned home to complete a Masters of Public Health at The University of Michigan School of Public Health. She completed her medical school and her urology residency at New York University Medical Center in New York, NY. Following this, Dr. Padmanabhan completed a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Padmanabhan is active clinically and involved in multiple research trials, including DoD grant on IC/ BPS and NIDDK P20 center grant for excellence on benign urology. She has published numerous peer reviewed articles and book chapters and given multiple presentations at both national and international meetings in the area of female voiding dysfunction and reconstruction. She is a member in the American Urological Association (AUA), International Continence Society (ICS) and Society of Urodynamics and Female Urology (SUFU).
