Hari Konchada is the Policy and Research Officer at the Continence Foundation of Australia where he has been working for the past 2 years. He completed a Master of International Relations in 2017 and prior to joining the Foundation worked across the policy and research, project and service coordination space for a diverse group of organisations engaged with migrants and refugees, disability support as well as the health sector. In his current role Hari has delivered policies that advocate for consumers affected by continence issues and for health professionals in the continence sector. Hari has worked on the development of the Foundation’s national male health campaign, BINS4Blokes, which raises awareness for the need to place incontinence bins in male public toilet facilities to promote greater socioeconomic participation and positive mental health outcomes for men managing incontinence. Hari will be presenting the results of the Foundation’s national consumer surveys and revealing what they say about the state of incontinence in Australia.
