The main focus of Natalia's work is minimal access laparoscopic (keyhole) surgical techniques to treat a wide range of gynaecological problems, including uterine preserving surgery (hysteropexy) to women with prolapses as an alternative to hysterectomy Natalia is the lead for Oxford BSUG/RCOG accredited Mesh removal centre treating many women effected by mesh complications, offering them laparoscopic mesh removal and native tissue repair surgery. She has been co-director of Oxford’s subspeciality urogynaecology training programme and preceptor for ATSM in Laparoscopy Surgery for Excision of Benign Disease. She is a faculty member for the BSGE cadaveric anatomy course and the Oxford Anatomy course for urgynaecologists. She has a major interest in teaching laparoscopic surgery and have lectured widely both nationally and internationally, visiting many units around the country performing and teaching laparoscopic prolapse reconstructive surgery.
