Anne Asnong is a PhD-researcher at KU Leuven, at the Faculty of Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy (2015) and a Master’s Degree in Sexology (2017) and specialized in pelvic floor rehabilitation and perinatal physical therapy (2017). Currently, she is investigating the effect of pelvic floor muscle training on bowel symptoms in rectal cancer survivors. She is also involved as a member of the scientific team of BICAP (Birth Core and Pelvic Therapy), a Belgian association of specialized physiotherapists.
