Dr. Jodie Dakic. is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physiotherapy at Monash University, Australia, with over 20 years of clinical experience as a practising physiotherapist. She holds a post-graduate qualification in pelvic floor physiotherapy and PhD from the University of Melbourne. Currently, Jodie serves as the Co-Director of Curriculum and Women’s and Men’s Health Stream Leader at Monash University. In addition, Jodie has held various roles with the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) including Director of Athlete Medical Services and Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee.
Jodie's research expertise lies in pelvic health in exercising women and injury epidemiology/prevention. She has a strong track record of collaborating on industry-based projects, including CI-A grants. Jodie has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and presented her research at national and international conferences. Her contributions to the field have been recognized with a best paper award at the International Continence Society Conference. She is an invited member of the WTA Women's Health Task Force and the Australian Institute of Sport Female Performance and Health Initiative.
