Dr Janice Cheng completed her urology training with the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ), and was awarded her FRACS (Urol) fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) in 2016. She then undertook one year of functional urology subspecialty training with Prof Lewis Chan and A/Prof Vincent Tse in Sydney, followed by a second year of subspecialty training under the supervision of Prof Helen O’Connell and Mr Johan Gani in Melbourne. She also holds a certificate in clinician performed ultrasound (CCPU) with the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM), and works as a consultant urologist in Melbourne, Australia.

Dr Janice Cheng treats both male and female LUTS, as well as incontinence in all adults. She is also passionate about improving system processes to optimize patient care and sits on her local hospital continence committees to improve care delivery models within the field of LUTS and urinary incontinence. She is an emerging clinical researcher and has been a surgical skills course instructor in the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) for many years.
