Dr. Michail Samarinas, is a leading urologist specializing in Functional Urology and Neuro-Urology, with a dedicated focus on **Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome (IC/BPS). Currently serving as Assistant Professor in the 2nd Urology Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he also heads specialized clinics for Urodynamics, Neuro-Urology, and Neuropathic Pelvic Pain.
A graduate and PhD holder from the University of Thessaly, Dr. Samarinas actively contributes to international research, with over 40 publications in peer-reviewed journals. His research focuses on lower urinary tract dysfunctions, neurogenic bladder conditions, and chronic pelvic pain.
He plays a pivotal role in shaping global urological practices as a Board Member of the International Society for the Study of BPS (ESSIC) and a panelist for the International Consultation on Incontinence (ICI). He is also an Associate Member of the **European Section of Functional Urology (ESFU) under the European Association of Urology (EAU).
His contributions have earned him international recognition, including awards at major congresses such as the SIU Congress and ICS Congress. Dr. Samarinas continues to advance patient-centered research and education in the field of urology.
