My name is Aline Teixeira Alves, I am an Associate Professor from Physiotherapy Department, University of Brasília, Brazil (UnB). I am a certified Physiotherapist in Women’s Health, accredited by the Brazillian Association of Physiotherapy in Women’s Health (ABRAFISM) and the Federal Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy (COFFITO).
I received my BSc in Physiotherapy from Universidade Católica de Brasília (UCB) in Brasília, Brazil, in 2002. I holds a Master’s degree in Gerontology from UCB (2010), and PhD in Health Sciences from UnB (2014). I also finished my Postdoctoral from University of Western Ontario (UWO), Canada, working with Prof. Michelle Mottola, Exercise and Pregnancy Laboratory (2020).
