The objective of this session is proposing a vision of medicine that aims to work not only for patients but together with them in order to improve health outcomes.
Throughout the session we will explain the rationale of this vision of medical practice, the importance of an adequate management of expectations to improve adherence, perceived patient satisfaction and, in general, health outcomes.
We will also address the role of scientific societies in providing patients with verified information in a digital environment where there is usually an excess of information, most of them useless.
Finally we will receive in the session the vision of patient associations and their role in this new way of proposing medicine.
