Last year the ICS Nursing Committee hosted a joint nursing session in conjunction with the Urology Nurses Association of Hong Kong (UNAHK). This course took place over 5 days in April and in 3 locations:
- Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital Hong Kong
- The First Affiliated Hospital –Sun Yat Sen University Guangzhou
- No.260 Yangzijiang Avenue, Jianye District, Nanjing 210017, China Nanjing
Donna Bliss and Kathleen Hunter spoke on behalf of ICS presenting a range of lectures on conservative management.
Following the success of this course, ICS will be hosting a second course in China this year. This will be the 1st ICS Certificate Course in Continence Care Nursing and will take place over 10 days in September and in 3 locations; Ningbo, Wuhu and Hefei.
In recognition for their efforts both Donna and Kathleen have been honoured by the An Hui Nursing Association, with honorary membership at the invitation of Larry Tsang. The ICS Board of Trustees and office would like to congratulate Donna and Kathleen on receiving this honour and for their work in China.
