As the year comes to an end, we are looking back at the 2024 highlights for ICS.
Everyone will likely agree that a particular highpoint of this year was the annual meeting in Madrid, a fantastic city where 1,900 delegates attended and enjoyed an exceptional scientific programme. Attendees joined us from 85 countries, and we are thrilled to have been able to network and explore the latest research together. A huge thank you to all who took part in the planning of the meeting, the delegates who attended the event and our industry partners, helping to make it so successful. You can watch the ICS Live Lounge discussions which took place in Madrid to learn about the hot topics and stories of key ICS 2024 participants. Don't forget to take a look at the official photo album.
2024 saw the publication of 8 volumes of our journals Continence and Continence Reports and a printed special issue on neuromodulation.
In October, ICS launched its own eLearning platform with three EACCME® accredited, interactive courses on urodynamics, free for ICS members at www.ics.org/learn
We hosted four interactive online ICS Masterclasses, discussing pelvic pain, overactive bladder, conservative management and urodynamics. Recordings are available at www.ics.org/masterclass
The ICS Board of Trustees and Office sends warm festive greetings to all our members and supporters. We sadly lost key members of ICS in the past months and our thoughts will be with their families, as well as with those members who have recently lost a loved one.
The Office will be closed for the Christmas and New Year break from Wednesday 25th December 2024. It will reopen on Thursday 2nd January 2025. During this time, we hope you enjoy a peaceful break and a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.
