We are pleased to announce the forthcoming ICS 13th Workshop for Surgical Repair of Vaginal Fistula & Urinary Incontinence. The workshop will take place on 09th – 11th January 2025 at Edward Francis Hospital in Banjul, The Gambia.

The workshop will facilitate up to 30 delegates to receive hands on surgical training on repairs to vaginal fistulas and is open to all international delegates, with priority given to trainees and residents and those working in developing and resource-constrained countries. A full multi-disciplinary team (fluent in English) will teach various surgical techniques on local patients.

All lectures and operations will be in English.

Two types of application are being accepted for the course:

• Free registration and accommodation - 5 positions (ICS sponsors course fee and accommodation)
• No funding - up to 25 positions (Delegate pays course fee and accommodation)

Please note: Visa requirements and costs are to be arranged by the candidates. Letters of invitation can be requested from Vertex, the organisers for this event.

How to Apply

Applicants are requested to complete an application form and return to Dina Nagy at Vertex along with their CV. All applications will then be reviewed by the Course Director, Sherif Mourad.
