The ICS is pleased to announce this new initiative from the Neurourology Promotion Committee (NUPC)! We are inviting early career professional* members to submit a review related to Neurourology for the Award of the ‘Best Review in Neurourology’.
The successful applicant will be awarded with a certificate at ICS 2024 Madrid, free registration to ICS 2024 and publication in the Continence Journal (subject to peer review).
Eligibility
Applicants for the award must be:
- The lead author of the review. Co-authors are permitted and might be required for fulfilling the standard requirements of a good review (as per PRISMA guidelines)
- A valid member of ICS
- Recently qualified (≤5 years) in Urology, Rehabilitation Medicine, Neurology, Gynaecology, Geriatrician, or allied specialty with interest in Neurourology.
*Early Career Professionals are defined as professionals of all disciplines who have graduated or completed their education in their specialty field within the last 5 years, or are currently in training.
How to Apply
Applicants should submit a draft or final review manuscript (narrative or systematic) of ≥2000 words on a subject of their choice related to neurourology, via the link below. Please note the following requirements:
• The manuscript should be in the Continence Journal format. For further information, please review the publication guidelines.
• The successful applicant will be obliged to submit their final review to the Continence Journal.
• Publication of the final review is subject to the Journal’s standard review process.
• The manuscript must be submitted to the ICS Office via the link below by June 30, 2024.
The successful applicant would then be informed by July 31, 2024. They will be expected to attend ICS 2024 Madrid, 23rd-25th October 2024. Please note: all travel arrangements and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the individual.
