The Hands-on Sacral Neuromodulation with World Class Experts – Ideal Lead Placement workshop at the annual meeting is one not to be missed. Participants will be led by a world-class faculty of six top experts, including session chair Howard Goldman, working on lifelike models to learn how to achieve efficient lead placement. The 90-minute interactive workshop is aimed at delegates interesting the Urology, Urogynaecology and Female & Functional Urology, and Bowel Dysfunction tracks.
Sacral neuromodulation is now standard treatment for patients with OAB, idiopathic retention and fecal incontinence who have failed conservative management. The workshop will briefly review appropriate patient selection and will then move on to focus on hands-on skills, to teach appropriate needle and lead placement techniques. Tips and tricks for getting the best responses will be reviewed during the session.
