Aside from the remarkable learning and networking that awaits you at ICS 2023 Toronto, there is a wealth of memorable things to do in the city. We’ve pulled together a medley of experiences to help inspire you to get the most out of your time in Toronto. If you only have limited time between sessions, there’s bound to still be something that you can fit into your trip!

City Tours

Explore Toronto’s diverse neighbourhoods and attractions via one of the many city tours available. It’s not just hop-on, hop-off buses here – you can tour by bike, boat, bus, on foot, or even helicopter for truly unique view of the Toronto Skyline. Arts & Culture

“Toronto's art and culture scene is guaranteed to inspire.”

With one of North America’s leading economies for entertainment and media, Toronto bursts at the seams with culture and creativity.

If you are going to fit in only one museum while in Toronto, make it the Royal Ontario Museum which houses an expansive collection of historical and cultural artefacts. The Aga Khan Museum, dedicated to Islamic civilisations and Muslim culture is also well worth a visit or, if you fancy something a bit different, the Bata Shoe Museum showcases more than 13,000 items of footwear from around the world.

Why not explore events that are happening in the city during your visit? Whether it's a concert, comedy evening, or special art exhibition, the online resource Now Playing Toronto has it all.

Sport

We would be doing this Canadian city a disservice if we didn’t mention sport (we hear it’s kind of a big deal to the locals!) And of course, in true Torontonian style, there’s a huge variety of experiences on offer, with something for everyone.

“If you don’t take a moment to understand Toronto’s sports scene, you’ll be missing a large part of Toronto’s cultural identity”.

Catch a live game, perhaps the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre, or visit one of the many sports bars across the city to take in the atmosphere of Toronto’s Sport Scene.

You could also absorb a piece of their sporting history at the Hockey Hall of Fame. The downtown museum holds the world’s largest hockey collection, including the Stanley Cup, and offers an immersive celebration of the sport the nation holds close as part of its identity.
