If neurourology has many controversies and low levels of evidence in different aspects in highly industrialised countries, the reality in developing countries is even worse. That’s why the ICS Neurourology Promotion Committee have been working on this project: Practice of CIC (Multiple Use) in Developing Countries (outpatient setting) – to ascertain practice patterns with regard to the reuse of catheters for intermittent catheterisation.
Please complete this survey if you practise CIC multiple use, regardless of your setting, role or country. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
An analysis of this survey would be an ICS committee paper, describing the current situation, based on the results. After this first paper, the second step would be to produce “Recommendations”. If you practice CIC (multiple use) regularly your answers will be highly appreciated, even if you do not work in a developing country, all information will improve recommendations.
