The School of Modern Technology will work to deliver gold standard educational resources and project proposals in Modern Technology to ICS members through eLearning and work placements at international centres of excellence.
The World Health Organisation identified “Health Technology” as the application of organised knowledge and skills in the form of devices, medicines, vaccines, procedures and systems developed to solve a health problem and improve quality of lives. The ICS School of Modern Technology has been established to organise educational facilities with using technologic devices, instruments and materials on 3D printed physical simulators, virtual reality and augmented reality models. It will also prepare well-designed projects based on education or creation of novel instruments and medical devices. In the future the School of Modern Technology will organise cadaveric training courses for many types of functional urologic surgeries, and aim to use new technologic devices during these facilities. Documentation, publication and dissemination are the other main goals of the NEW school.
