Recent data suggests that some treatments for overactive bladder may pose potential risks to patients. While we’ve long been aware of common side effects from anticholinergic medications, such as constipation and dry mouth, emerging evidence now points to a small but concerning association between these medications and dementia. This evolving information is changing how we approach the management of overactive bladder. This webinar will explore current strategies for managing overactive bladder, with a particular focus on the risk of dementia and how we can mitigate that risk. Several case studies will be presented to demonstrate these approaches in practice.
