We will discuss what is known of health disparities in overactive bladder and focus specifically on treatment disparities among minority women. We will consider the role of social determinants of health that limit a minority woman's ability to receive access to care and treatment for overactive bladder. Finally, we will discuss what the literature has taught us about the next important steps, and how we can all make differences that can improve health outcomes in minority women with overactive bladder.
