TCS - Management of Complications After Female Incontinence Surgery

Surgical management of female urinary incontinence is not free of complications. Urinary retention, bladder emptying problems, de novo urgency, pelvic pain, vaginal extrusion or mesh erosion are commonly seen in women after incontinence surgery. This session will focus on the management of these common complications associated with female incontinence surgery including intra-detrusor botulinum neurotoxin injection, mid-urethral and pubovaginal slings under the light of evidence-based medicine.
