Aims and Objectives
|
To review the impact of medical co morbidities on lower urinary tract symptoms. Topics covered include ageing, diabetes mellitus, heart failure, dementia, Parkinson's disease and stroke. The pathyphysiology of LUTS in these conditions, effect of polypharmacy, management strategies and direction for future research will be discussed by experts in the field. By the end of the workshop, the candidates will be able to understand the relation between medical conditions and LUTS, and will improve their management strategies including understanding of drug interactions and drug effect on the bladder
